Big Emotions, Little Hearts – Learning to Feel and Connect
At Al Falah, we believe that emotional intelligence is just as important as ABCs and 123s. In this heartwarming module, Lala and Leo gently guide toddlers through the world of feelings and friendships—helping them recognize emotions, express themselves, and navigate early social experiences with confidence.
Each episode introduces a core emotion or social skill through toddler-friendly storytelling, relatable scenarios, and playful interaction. Whether it’s feeling shy at a playgroup, learning to share toys, or managing frustration when things don’t go as planned, children are reassured and supported through Lala and Leo’s calming presence and kind advice.
This module helps toddlers:
- Name their feelings – like happy, sad, mad, excited, and scared – and learn that all emotions are okay.
- Develop social skills such as turn-taking, saying sorry, helping others, and asking for help.
- Use music and role-play to explore emotions in a non-threatening, joyful way.
- Build empathy by seeing how Lala comforts Leo or how Leo learns to understand others’ feelings.
- Discover tools for self-regulation, like deep breaths, counting to calm down, or asking for a hug.
Each lesson encourages children to connect what they see on screen with their own daily lives—whether it’s expressing how they feel, noticing a friend who’s sad, or being proud of saying “please” and “thank you.” Parents and caregivers are also invited to extend these moments with prompts and follow-up conversations.
By the end of the module, your child will have taken important steps toward emotional awareness and social connection. With kindness, courage, and lots of love, Lala and Leo help every child feel seen, heard, and capable of being a good friend.
